Our story

Built inside a design studio.

Heather · Owner & lead designer, Haus Collective Interiors

I didn’t set out to help build software. I just wanted to run my design firm without losing my mind.

As the owner and lead designer of Haus Collective Interiors, I’ve learned that designing beautiful spaces is only part of running a successful interior design business.

Behind every beautiful project are hundreds of moving pieces. Client communication, specifications, procurement, schedules, invoicing, approvals, employee time tracking, and approximately a thousand details that nobody sees.

And for years, I found myself trying to make multiple platforms work together to manage it all.

The problem wasn’t that there weren’t enough tools. It was that none of them seemed to understand how an interior design firm actually operates.

So my husband, Michael, started building something different.

Studiohaus was developed around the real challenges we encountered running our firm. Not what someone assumed designers needed, but what we actually needed to make our days more organized, our processes more efficient, and our clients better informed.

What I appreciate most about Studiohaus is the philosophy behind it: technology should support the creative process, not complicate it.

As designers, our time and attention are valuable. Every hour spent chasing information, duplicating work, or managing disconnected systems is an hour we’re not spending designing, serving our clients, or growing our businesses.

I believe the best business tools are created by people who genuinely understand the problems they’re solving.

And that’s exactly how Studiohaus began.

I’m incredibly proud of what we have created, and even more excited about what it can become for other design firms.

If you’re an interior designer who’s outgrown spreadsheets, scattered systems, and endless administrative work, I encourage you to take a look.
