The questions studios ask before they move in. Something missing? Write us at contact@studiohaus.app.

What is Studiohaus?

Studiohaus is a practice-management CRM built specifically for boutique interior design studios. It runs projects, clients, mood boards, invoicing, client communication, and site visits in one place, with a branded client portal for every project.

Who is Studiohaus for?

Solo principals through multi-designer studios. It is not built for contractors or general construction — the workflows are interior-design-native: mood boards, product sourcing, room-by-room specs, client approvals.

How much does it cost?

Basic is $49/month for one user; Pro is $99/month for three users and adds QuickBooks sync and client payments via Stripe. Extra seats are $9/month each. Monthly billing only, free trial, no annual contracts. Full details are on the pricing page.

Do my clients need an account?

No. Each project gets a branded client portal on a secure link where clients review mood boards, approve items, see invoices, and message the studio. Client access is unlimited and never counts toward your user licenses.

Does Studiohaus integrate with QuickBooks?

Yes — on the Pro tier, invoices sync to QuickBooks Online, so your books stay right without double entry.

Can clients pay invoices online?

Yes — on the Pro tier, clients pay invoices by card directly from the client portal via Stripe.

How do mood boards work?

Design Boards is a full mood-board editor inside Studiohaus: clip products from any retailer's site with the Chrome clipper, arrange them on boards with automatic background removal, fonts and annotation marks, then present to clients for item-by-item approval.

Can I import my existing client and product data?

Yes. Clients and products import from CSV (including exports from other tools), and the Chrome clipper captures product details and images as you source.

Does Studiohaus track time and site visits?

Yes. A built-in time tracker logs billable hours, and the Route Planner logs site-visit mileage at the current IRS rate automatically.

How is Studiohaus different from Houzz Pro or DesignFiles?

Scope and focus. General platforms serve contractors, remodelers, and designers at once; Studiohaus is built only for interior design studios, so the defaults fit without configuration. See the comparison pages for a feature-by-feature breakdown.
