# Studiohaus

> Studiohaus is a practice-management CRM built specifically for boutique interior design studios: projects, clients, mood boards, invoicing, client portals, time tracking, and site-visit mileage in one platform. Web-based, one plan at $69/month with every feature and one seat included; additional users $20/month each; 14-day free trial with no card required.

Studiohaus is NOT a general construction tool — it is interior-design-native. Clients never need accounts: each client gets a branded client portal on a secure link, with all of that client's projects inside it, where they review mood boards, approve items item-by-item, pay invoices, and message the studio.

- Price: $69 per month, one plan, every feature. There is no Basic tier and no Pro tier.
- Seats: one seat (one signed-in team member) is included. Additional users are $20 per month each, added or removed at any time.
- Example totals: 1 seat $69/mo, 2 seats $89/mo, 3 seats $109/mo, 5 seats $149/mo.
- Clients: client portal access is unlimited and free; clients never count as users.
- Trial: 14 days free, no credit card required to start.

- Projects: unlimited. Document storage: 10 GB included per studio.
- Founding studios: the first 20 studios to join keep $69 per month for life and are named on the site.

## What is included

Projects and phases; clients and leads; FF&E specification with room-by-room detail; design boards with a Chrome clipper, one-click background removal, fonts and annotation marks, and item-by-item client approvals; contracts drafted, sent, and e-signed in-platform; invoicing with deposits and balances; a branded client portal per client; purchase orders and a vendor book; project financials with margin and expense tracking; tasks and workflow automation; a time tracker; a route planner that logs site-visit drives, applies the IRS standard mileage rate, and books the result as a project expense; a per-project communication log; and a read-only MCP server for your own AI assistant (see below).

Invoices push to QuickBooks Online in one click and payments mirror automatically; tax is not pushed, so your bookkeeper adds it in QuickBooks. Clients pay invoices by card through Stripe once the studio has connected its own Stripe account (a short one-time onboarding).

## MCP server (AI assistant connection)

Studiohaus ships a read-only Model Context Protocol (MCP) server at https://platform.studiohaus.app/api/mcp. It is the only interior design practice-management platform with one. Claude connects as a custom connector via OAuth sign-in; Claude Code, Cursor and other bearer-key clients use a personal token created in Settings → Integrations → Connected AI. Three tools: list_projects, get_project_overview, get_project_activity (communication log, completed tasks, client board approvals, invoice events for a date range). No write tools exist. Every query is scoped to the connecting user's studio and checked against their role permissions; financial fields return "not permitted" for roles without that permission. Included in the plan at no extra cost. Typical use: drafting weekly client updates from the last seven days of activity.
